Summary: I probably should have looked more carefully at the property listing before I booked, because I was not aware that this is not a hotel but more of an apartment complex. These is no restaurant and the reception has limited opening hours. When arriving to the property after 8pm, you need a code to open the gate, and one evening the code panel malfunctioned, so it took me 6 tries (and 15 minutes) to get in. But the property is in a very calm area with fresh air and the apartments are large for the price. It is not 4-star, though.

Summary: Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and rural. As well as a well-groomed golf course and pasture area with roaming cows. Units are 2 story with a kitchen (no oven), and 2 bathrooms on each level. There is also a patio overlooking the property great for evening dinners or coffee in the morning. Unfortunately we couldn't use it due to the weather. This is not a typical hotel establishment, there is no housekeeping. You're required to make your own beds and clean up when leaving. Even bring extra toilet paper for you only get the 1 roll supplied. Clothes washer/dryer (at a charge) are community and not in the unit. The area being rural there are no eating establishments locally. Only 1 food truck that comes by in the evenings for a limited amount of time. They also ask you bring your plates from your room when ordering food at the truck (ODD). The reception area has coffee and some breakfast items in the morning (at a cost) and again they ask you bring your coffee mugs from your room. With all this being said, I would recommend this establishment to others and would consider staying here again now that it's clear what to expect. Even though there are some oddities this was a great value for the price.

Summary: Beautiful grounds, close to all the D day beaches and beautiful local port with restaurants, lovely indoor and outdoor swimming pools and sauna. Accomodation basic and comfortable with everything you need.

Summary: Make sure you communicate with the property before you arrive on what time you will be arriving. There is not a normal reception like most hotels/places to stay. When we called the number because we couldn’t get through the gate, the lady was speaking to someone else and laughing. Very unprofessional and rude. The place itself was nothing special, I selected a double bed, twins and a pull out for 5 of us staying and the bed upstairs was just two twins put together & they kept sliding apart, then my teens slept on the pull out couch and my youngest had a pull out mattress on the floor. Very uncomfortable. Will not be booking with this property again. Nothing like described on Expedia.
